MSCMP2026 is organised around six thematic sections covering the broad range of fundamental and applied research in materials science and condensed matter physics. Each section is led by an internationally recognised chair and co-chair.

Scientific Sections of MSCMP2026


Each section accepts oral, plenary and poster contributions. The chairs curate invited talks, moderate parallel sessions, and review submitted abstracts.

SEC 01

Condensed Matter Theory (CMT)

Advances in condensed matter theory; low dimensional systems; modeling of materials and structural properties; ordering and phase transitions; quantum optics and electronics; strong correlated electronic systems.

Growth and Properties of Advanced Materials (GPAM)

Solid State Nanophysics and Nanotechnology (SSNN)

Advances in physics of nanosystems; nanostructures and nanomaterials -fabrication and characterization; physical properties at the nanometer scale: nanodots, nanowires, quantum wells and superlattices; nanocarbon materials; nano-optics, nano-photonics, nano-optoelectronics and nano-spintronics; emerging phenomena in nanocomposites and nanomaterials.

Electromagnetic Radiation Detection and Conversion (EMDC)
